Pokémon Zukan
These figures make up the majority of my collection. As most collectors know, Zukans are 1/40 scale dioramas of a Pokémon's evolutionary line. I started out collecting only Normal-type families. Now I collect any Pokémon that catches my interest. However, I don't collect every Normal-type Pokémon. If the family is Normal/Flying; I don't want it. Almost every Flying-type is also a Normal-type. If I collected them all, I'd have Flying-types too! When you think of Pidgeot or Fearow, your first thought it 'They're a Flying-type!' so I don't want them.
I have these rules for my collection:
1. No Flying-type families. The only exception to this rule is the Togepi line. Because Togepi is a pure Normal-type that evolves into a Normal/Flying type.
2. If a Normal-type Pokémon has a secondary typing, other than Flying, I want it. This includes Pokémon like Bibarel and Girafarig who are Normal/Water and Normal/Psychic respectively. There are a few others like this.
